It’s not just about winning the championship in this gritty romantic suspense.
My father made sure my life was built on lies.
Everything about my past was created to protect me. I just don’t know why.
Former fighter, Julian Moore, used to grace my TV one too many times, and I secretly had posters of him on my walls.
Now, he may be the only one I can trust and he’s vowed to stand by my side no matter what. I want to believe him.
My father’s secrets brought Julian and me together–a secret that I have yet to uncover.
I was never given control of my past, but now it’s time to take control of my future.
Survive is the first book in the Fight It Out series–you’ll get a strong female lead, mixed martial arts, suspense, and inspiration to make a new recipe.

Great book with solid characters, swoony romance, and a great plotline. It was fun to read and touching tooI received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I’m ready to find me a Julian F(&&)! Moore! Lily’s character was great! I loved her story, her back story that she knew then was blindsided with a harsh truth.. this is a great read and is filled right romance, mystery, suspense, romance and some serious fighting all wrapped up in one! Lily was strong, smart, and vulnerable which is a little bit of all of us at some point. Julian was that sexy man who knew who and what he wanted but was also very sensitive and in tune with Lily.. professionally and personally. I enjoyed reading their journey and look forward to Charlie’s story. She’s that awesome friend that everyone needs!
While this book had a great story line, I did not like the time jumps. I feel like we missed key elements in the building of the relationship between Lily and Julian. I liked the characters but almost feel like we did not get to know them very well.
Enjoyed the story and at times found it interesting. It was neither here nor there though. Could have stopped reading at some point but carried on. Felt at times that the story didn't flow so well and jumped a bit but it was ok.
Enjoyed the plot.
